It has limitations but the benefits far outweigh them.

Brilliant phone, I've had it for six months now, however, the camera is a total let down. (Yes, I've tried many different third-party camera apps).. it's still sh*t!

Is there a consensus of what is the best camera on a phone circa £100 is? Don't mind either Android or Windows.

It is pretty hard to say but if it has to be a sub £100 phone I would put it between the Smart Ultra 6, Lumia 640, Huawei P8 lite. Or if you can find it under £100, the Motorola moto g 3rd gen.

This phone sounds good, has anyone here had a Nexus 4? just wondering if the camera on this would be an improvement on the Nexus?

Marginally I would reckon.
Nexus 4 is 8mp right? Whereas this is 13mp. I know megapixels aren't everything but it will help. In addition the camera is newer so probably helps in performance.
But I have to say I'm no camera expert.
