Not £17.99 with Quidco as they only give cash back on amount before VAT. Great price and game though.

The log load times will drive you mad.

They're pretty much the only thing wrong with the game though, it's a masterpiece and a steal at this price. Those long load times enable the rendering of a stunning-looking game with no load times when travelling from one side of the map to the other, entering buildings etc... if anything they'll teach you not to die so you don't have to reload.
Don't overuse the fast travelling option either - not only does it result in a load time but you miss out on a sprawling landscape which is begging to be explored.

Spotted as £19.99 in Smyths too, I get the feeling a GOTY is just around the corner

Blood and Wine is rumoured to be releasing as early as April, so I'd imagine a GOTY will be out when that is released, or in the summer.

Just couldn't get into this game. Loved Skyrim, but this felt a bit cold and didn't grip me. No idea why.

Snap, I couldn't get going with this. I think the obvious depth, lore and the general amount of learning required did me in. Being introduced to Gwent in the Inn was the final straw. Skyrim never felt like it was overwhelming on the learning front; lots to do yeah, but never "oh my god, this is so big, I'll be here forever".
