Yes; I took my girlfriend with me a few years back. I doubt the rules have changed.

Why the snobbery? For me, the less time I spend anywhere near "chavs" the better, but I'm even keener to avoid people who look down their nose at anyone with: a very small budget for their holiday; kids from a previous relationship, or; a preference for 30p tabloids over £1 newspapers.

The only down side is you have to buy the sun. I really couldn't bring myself to stoop that low.

HEAT. Not for me though as I am rather selective who I want to travel with and Sun readers do not fall into that category.
Here is an example of why taken from Sun page...
..Hi we are a family of 8 consisting of 2 adults, 4 teens, 3 yr old and an 8 month old.
Do these holidays do accommodation for such a large family?
Can anyone recommend somewhere for plenty to do?

can you tell me if you can take a dog on these holiday please?
cainer1 to ajcove
26 Mar 16#8
most places will allow it but they normally charge around £20 extra per dog,
but.. you cant book for a dog when booking via this Sun offer, you need to pay for it afterwards by phoning the holiday park,
best thing to do would be to phone the park you want to stay at Before you book and ask them if its ok and how much

Hi, yes you can usually take a dog. You need to make the online booking in the first instance and then call direct to include you dog once you receive your confirmation e-mail. We have just come back from Craig Tara in Scotland. We took our dog (at a cost of £25) and I am pleased to say that the accommodation was immaculately clean. We were visiting family near the site and to be honest I wasn't expecting much, however I was pleasantly surprised. I hope you have a great time!
