These are almost always full price (£2.89) and don't get reduced often. Still pricey compared to other sauces, but these kits are the closest I've come to authentic restaurant standard curry. Really good!

It's not an unreasonable claim, these are very good and work well. Perhaps 15 minutes? But certainly produces a very authentic curry (as in "British-Indian Restaurant" style curry). Which it should given that you get the dry spices and the sauce/gravy to add.

Why funny? It comes with spices you fry in oil, then you add a paste and then a sauce. Exactly how you make a real curry really...

I agree these are good and would recommend them . However my favourite was "Our little Secret" and again in MHO was exceptional. Unfortunately you just don't see them on the shelves now.
There are dozens of different ways to make dozens of different sauces/gravy. I dont say its not edible but i scoff at 'authentic' and so would anyone who knows a little about South East asian or Indian food.
