A joyous action adventure lovingly crafted in the image of all time classics such as Zelda, Jak and Daxter and Banjo Kazooie, The Last Tinker is a colorful journey through Colortown, a world built upon creativity, emotion and collaboration.
A dark force named The Bleakness has emerged and seeks to tear the colors apart, draining all joy and life from the world.
Koru, a young boy from the slums of Colortown, is forced to act. He embarks on an epic and one of a kind adventure to combat the Bleakness and to restore joy and color to his home.
Went in yesterday and none of the copies were sealed unfortunately, despite being marked as new :disappointed:

do you remember those adverts for Comfort fabric softener where everything looked like it was made out of multi coloured cushions including the people, and it was a little bit creepy? it's like a videogame full of that. It's alright, it has its heart in the right place, but the gameplay is a bit on the bland side. The lack of a manual jump button really killed it for me. Worth a go at this price though.

This game sold kinda poor at retail. I expect there will be a good deal for the online version in the future. Doesn't even have a platinum trophy.

The game is good - fun colourful and charming. It's not a platformer per se as you cannot jump, instead you run up to a ledge/vine/wall etc. while holding the action button and you'll start to maneuver it. Think climbing in assassins creed. The combat is also similar to assassins creed/arkham games in that you brawl with short combos and special moves. There's plenty to find and explore and the levels are all nice. It's definitely a more explorative, puzzle based game (though these are a bit simple) than a true platformer, still, at this price it's a great bit of fun!

I found the controls rather restrictive personally, think Uncharted/Assassin's Creed. Set handholds and action button interaction.
As a result it felt rather wooden at times as you need to be standing in the right spot. Still as a deal this is hot.
