Oasis are enjoyable but IMO their music is entirely derivative Led Zep / Beatles. The Stone Roses on the other hand IMO, invented a sound. That's much more impressive.

This is still one of, if not the greatest debut album of all time IMO.

Oh yes they have. I still listen to Dissolution (The Clouds Disperse) regularly. And I still laugh maniacally when the wave breaks....

Yeah you could call it that. I've seen them live was worth seeing them live. I don't follow their work, most of the albums are the same type of thing, but very decent musicianship especially Ed Wynne the guitarist and keyboardist.

I have heard of the band, but never bothered listening to their music, very trippy is it not ?
