Here is the deal. 1000 mins 5000 texts 2GB (3g data) Talk Mobile £62.99 upfront.
Deal is via Mobiles phones Direct but the only way to get to the deal is bizarrely by using Techrader.com mobile comparison. I can't seem to get to the deal on Mobile Phones Direct website so could be one of their famous errors like with the NEXUS 5X. Thought the deal was lower than else where and to my surprise I have had a dispatched email. Please note new deal below even better.
Here is the deal. 1000 mins 5000 texts 2GB (3g data) Talk Mobile £62.99 upfront £30.00 cash back via quidco, tracked twice for me no issue. If quidco is paid the cost over 24 months is just over £16.25 a month. The next best deal I was able to find was around £20.50 direct from vodafone if you convince the online support that you work for a particular company and they give you 20% discount which is a bit of a faf.
You need to use Techradars comparison to get the deal which is link. Set the operator to Talk Mobile, limit upfront cost to under £100 and do deals low to high, you should be able to discover it. Hope this helps someone.

Cold.
On the same search, you can have Sony Xperia Z5 Compact (Blk)
1000 minutes
5000 texts
2GB data
£62.99 upfront
£15.00/mth
So £3 more upfront and you get 4 times the amount of data and twice the amount of minutes.
Edited to get rid of a typo so now out of order.
**Edit**
OP has changed the deal they posted - it was £59.99 upfront for 500mb and 500 minutes. It's now the deal I posted here.

Post has credited you. Many thanks. Bit gutted I could have had 2gb and double minutes for just four quid today. When my device arrives tomorrow I'm going to pursuade them to match I hope.

As per the OP, it's through the techradar comparison tool.
Select any network, upto £100 upfront costs and 2GB+ data. Then sort by cost low to high.

This or SU6?

My wife went for the s6, I went for Z5 Compact. Personally I like sd storage, stereo speakers and water proof but the s6 in terms of spec is just as good, just differently. I prefer the smaller Z5 Compact too.

Mobilephonesdirect refused quidco and refused the full autocashback they stated when I got a contract 4 months ago, similar deal too, be careful

Agreed never do cash back by redemption. Quidco seems fairly reliable for this trader. Bt were offering 200 via quidco, declined no reason. Best thing to do is get the best deal without cashback , but if a chance to get and cost nothing, may as well take a punt.

How do you get quidco going through this link?

Use the link on tech radar which will take you to mobile direct basket, open new tab, go to quidco and find mobile direct link, click it. Use the tab you opened via quidco to check out the phone you put in your basket via the Techradar link.

Talk Mobile is vodafone. It's a policy decision much like o2 and gift gaff.
