Invariably they dont protect against drink spillage and crumbs though - they just go through them.
I used to be a motor trader and we'd occasionally get a car in with seat covers on. Once you got them taken off the seats beneath were usually vile - where "fluids" had got through the covers and crumbs had powdered and fallen through.
Seat covers dont keep seats clean, they just let the grot through where it resides unseen.
I've never take seat covers off and thought "well those did a great job of protecting the seats and keeping them clean"

I got mine, fitted them, And very happy with the look and feel. If I wanted a £100 car seat cover, I would get one. For a fiver, i would still vote hot..I think this does more than the job of covering the seats and protecting them from little kids food spillage and food crumbs stains etc. They come on and off easily and are washable and ultimately look okay. Last ones I had lasted a couple of years and hopefully these will too. I think good value for what they are and haven't seen full car seat covers for this price anywhere else.

Yes, get the seats professionally cleaned by a valeter. Should cost £30 and you've solved the problem not hidden it. If you dont want to spend that, look up on the myriad of car detailing and valeting sites about how to do it yourself properly.
Getting the stains professionally removed will add probably 10x the cost of getting it done to the resale value of the car - and you wont have to sit in someone elses grot in the mean time.
Polyester seat covers are what people put in Morris Marinas in the 1970s. Hideous, awful things.
£5 polyester seat covers - you might as well just get "i've given up" written down the side of your car and have done with it.

OK the reason why I want to buy these are because I have a family car and the owners before made deep dark stains on the seats ,got any tips to get rid of them ? I tryed every think possible ! so maybe its a good thing to hide the stains . I would farther pay £5 to hide all the seats then get some one expensive to get rid of the stains which are 10years old ! voted hot as well  your just negative about everything

Seriously - why would you ever consider fitting these to a mk2 focus?

Yes, you can. These are awful in every way.
Cheap polyester
Will fit badly
Will stretch
Wont protect your seats as the dirt will simply powder through over time
Will make your car look horrible when fitted
I would rather **** on my hands and clap than fit these.
I just dont get the reason why?
If its to protect your seats they dont
If its to make your car look better, they wont
If its to hide stains already there, then get the stains cleaned instead
If its to hide a tear in the seats, get the tear or seat replaced (from a scrapper)
If its to increase the lifespan of the seats they wont.

Bought these a month ago as I was going to moving a load of dirty stuff from garden.. but had to return as they wouldn't fit over focus seats properly.. Also be aware these aren't airbag compliant

I'd rather not burn unnecessary cash..
I think Aldi do some good seat covers to which I believe are faux leather.. Might try them out..

The front seats should be fine, but you might have a problem with the ones in the back - perhaps you might need to splash out and buy a second set :innocent:

Thanks! Really needing seat covers. Does anyone know if they will fit a Vauxhall Astra please?

Universal seat covers never fit properly. Tried various makes in various cars over the years but they are always baggy and leave edges of the seats exposed. Getting a brand new car next month so will invest in some tailor made seat covers i think.

I think the only thing that would hinder the front airbags would be your face on impact

Thank you, that explains, I was thinking about the airbags in the front, earlier

Just a silly question as I dont know much about cars other than driving. How can the seat cover hinder the air bags?

It's the car seat airbags you would need to consider, but not all cars have them. They are built into the seats. The seats stitching is designed to break away if the airbags are deployed.

As above, if these aren't airbag compliant, then it may void your insurance. And of course more importantly they may hinder the airbags correct operation in the event of an accident.
