Bought these a month ago as I was going to moving a load of dirty stuff from garden.. but had to return as they wouldn't fit over focus seats properly.. Also be aware these aren't airbag compliant

As above, if these aren't airbag compliant, then it may void your insurance. And of course more importantly they may hinder the airbags correct operation in the event of an accident.

Just a silly question as I dont know much about cars other than driving. How can the seat cover hinder the air bags?

It's the car seat airbags you would need to consider, but not all cars have them. They are built into the seats. The seats stitching is designed to break away if the airbags are deployed.

Thank you, that explains, I was thinking about the airbags in the front, earlier

I think the only thing that would hinder the front airbags would be your face on impact

Universal seat covers never fit properly. Tried various makes in various cars over the years but they are always baggy and leave edges of the seats exposed. Getting a brand new car next month so will invest in some tailor made seat covers i think.

The front seats should be fine, but you might have a problem with the ones in the back - perhaps you might need to splash out and buy a second set :innocent:
