Ive seen them everytime i go in and thought cant really buy them at that full price but soon as i saw them today at a quid i made the strangest noise that i cant even begin to explain.

I bought a bag of these today based on the low price. Only when I got home did I realise there's over 12 times more sugar than standard bite size SW!

Oh dear, wishing you'd picked up a few more bags? ;p

That sounds shocking until you realise that shredded wheat is less than 1% sugar. I'd have thought a cherry bakewell flavour cereal might have given a slight hint to its sugar content. :stuck_out_tongue:

Tried today & unfortunately it's far too sugary for me. Admittedly I don't have sweet cereal so I'm not used to it, but I was really disappointed. If they'd put flaked almonds in with it rather than using a sugary glaze to hold the chopped almonds to the top it might have been a lot better.

Admittedly i knew there would be more sugar but not 12x as much! The only reason I eat SW is as a "healthy" cereal :disappointed:
Let's be honest it's a boring breakfast. I'd rather be on Jordan's chunky stuff or whatever it's called.
I have come up with a good compromise: sprinkle a few of these in each bowl with the "normal" ones. It's like a little treat for the taste buds each time you get one.

Missed this post originally , but found it today and they are still on offer, yes, love the apple ones, but I must be such a piglet, because I hardly get more than 4 days breakfast out of a pack ( unless someone else is eating it too and I didn't realise ) , off to asda today
