Little to no benefit on a screen size this small, you have to sit looking right in the middle of it. Otherwise the viewing angle is even worse than a typical LCD is, which are usually not that great in the first place!

I love my curved samnsung 48" in the dark watching a movie it really does help with the atmosphere, also "football mode" for footy or rugby is amazing!

I did get the impression that was the case. I've been on the lookout for a new tv, undecided between 48" and 55". Problem is it seems all the top spec TVs seem to be the curved TVs in the case of Samsung.

Indeed. If you are nice and selfish then claim the (very small) sweet spot on a set like this and don't budge. Everyone else can watch semi inverted colours and low contrast :stuck_out_tongue:

Well my TV is in a corner with no sofa dead on. So afraid there might not be a sweet spot for no one. I'm guessing people seem to choose the flat screen option, as the jury is still out as such on the curved screen.

The motion blur can be a problem with these. I've got the 6550 40" model . Sport mode helps but it's a fudge

Looks fantastic in a corner stop noticing the curve after a while but I have the 48" version and love it

OLED has made me a happy man. After ditching 2 expensive LCD with the light bleed and clouding on dark scenes it had to be done guys you will never look back.
