I work for sainsburys I bought the last 2 pairs this morning also pocket selfie sticks 1p but doubt if there are many in stores now as they were reduced to clear stock .

They've got iPads/Champagne/whatever marked up on the shelf at £1 in my local store but there's no stock left there either.

If there was only 1 Sainsbury's store in the UK I would see your point. Seeing as there are over 1200 I don't.
Even if there were a further 50 on the shelf at my local store this still wouldn't help you out. I'm pretty sure out of 1200 stores there is some left to be had, if this post encourages someone to look and find some then my post has succeeded its aim.
Just because you and me have not benefited from the deal it doesn't make it pointless

It was this annoying post that drove me to check while i was in Sainsburys today. Didn't have any marked as 1p on shelf but got them scanned to check price. Black and pink both still £6 but blue scanned at 1p. Bought the last 4 on the shelf in Brentwood Sainsburys. Heat most definitely added....didn't see £1 iPads though they must be store specific!

Sorry, OP, this is just not a helpful post.
