Just worth noting that this is a 'Table Top Cooler' and not a true Fridge as it relies on a fan to cool the contents, rather than the coolant you find in you usual kitchen fridge. From what I can see it has some good feedback from folks who have taken them on camping trips as a way to keep the milk and butter cool. Have seen/used some of the cheaper camping coolers, that just didn't live up to the job, so at this price, Hot from me
Agreed, good advice. Ditto to the above.
Think of this more as a fancy coolbox for the kitchen, so anything you'd put/ keep for short periods in that, you could keep in this too. Use a "proper" fridge, one cooled with refridgerant and circulated with a compressor, not fan, for your normal storage of fridge foodstuffs, especially opened or higher risk foods that go off easily if not stored correctly. All to do with how low the temperature goes. This lowers the ambient temperature by a set amount, not regulates it.
Oh, BTW, if anyones interested, keep an eye out on a famous auction site for tabletop fridges as they often come up if you're not in a hurry. I recently bought a "husky" branded one just for cooling drinks to free up space in the main fridge, and that set me back £21 from over £100. As with all second hand electricals though, best to have it checked out first by a qualified electrician if you can. Look around the back and see if it has a compressor and metal pipes rather than just a fan inside.

Do you think it would be suitable for a student to keep milk cool in their uni room? My daughter was looking for a small fridge and I wondered if this would fit the bill...

We are only keeping beer in ours and I'm not sure what temperature it would keep, I believe it would be ok for milk but better double check online, it is advertised as a fridge but the comments above are different :-/

Inside the fridge - Height 26cm Width 30cm Depth 26cm. Door shelf - Depth 7 cm, Width 26 cm.
Temperature - 5 degrees, keep your milk nice and cold.
I was hoping a 2 litre bottle of milk would fit standing upright but nope, 1cm too big.
So I bought a 1.5 litre fridge jug in Wilkos to store milk.
It won't hold much, but it works and holds enough for a few days. It also runs very quietly.
I'm very happy with this wee fridge.
