Beware - the quality of these so called "free bags" with these offers are pretty poor. They are purpose made for these deals and not a patch on the quality you would get if you went into a department store and purchased one from the brands range directly. They probably cost pence to make in reality and wont last you long.

Not sure that applys to all manufacturers. I have an Armani one and that has lasted years as a weekend bag. You can go into Beatties or House of Fraser and buy the same bag for £35/£40

Yep just like all the gift sets at Christmas e.g. Ted Baker deodorant set with a free wallet. The wallet isn't even leather, was probably made for pence in China and is more like one you'd pay a few quid for in George than anything Ted Baker actually produce.
