Please note this model does NOT have the permanently attached coiled wire - it is simply the charge unit that has 2 charge ports (more on them shortly!) and it comes with a USB to Micro USB cable for charging. You can also use your standard USB cables that came with your smart phone.
The 2 ports are different. Both are USB but the first port (Smart) is the Smart Port. Plug your device in to this and the smart port automatically recognises your device and the delivers the exact current required for charging your device.
The second port (Orange port) is a Quick Charge port and will charge your device more quickly.

How did all those reviewers get it for free.. :man:
Usually Amazon states if the reviewer was given a review unit though their "Vince Voice" programme, does seem a little odd that EVERYONE uses the same wording to disclose it was a free unit.

Thanks and ordered! If I use an micro usb to USB C adapter, does anyone know if it still charges as quick as if I am using an USB C cable?
Thanks

They're also offering this as part of a bundle with a battery pack with a discount of £5.50 if anyone wants both.

It has 2x2.4 A ports which means total output is 2x2.4Ax5v=24 watt, why does it say 30 watt? Where is an extra amp going to? Misleading?

No. One standard port - 1 * 2.4A *5v = 12w. One quick charge port at up to 12v * 1.5A = 18w. 12w + 18w = 30w. Only a quick charge compatible device should switch the port from 5v to a higher voltage.

This happens all the time on Amazon, free product in exchange for an "honest unbiased review".
I.e. free stuff for a 5 star review
Companies like Anker have a platform on their website where you can register to get free stuff, I believe they can also give a large discount through Amazon so you get the verified purchase tag.
I ignore any review that has "unbaised" anywhere in there.

Yes. It'll be perfectly fine for that AND a phone. If it's just for a TomTom you could grab any random £1 charger
