Cheapest I've seen a Nano, very tempted but as the next range of AMD GFX cards are hopefully only another 3 months aways I think I will wait, but good for anyone else intrested.

AFAIK nanos are all reference cards. i.e. the pcb and the cooler are the same for all the manufacturers.
edit: Heat added!

The same problems are on nVidia cards as well, this is an issue with Microsoft Universal Aplications

It's been £349.99 at Overclockers for a while, but obviously you have to add shipping on top of that. So this is a good deal.
Shame there are new cards coming out this year, otherwise I would have snapped up a Nano weeks ago!

I purchased a 390 from a 6950/70mod and have yet to have any regrets, if It suits you now and it's what you need don't hold back and pull the trigger on that upgrade. Or you could also think of what's the next 6 months got and be stuck in a wierd circle. The uograde cycle is tedious just get what you can now don't think what if unless it's literally next week and in stock. New tech is always around the corner. Unless you are willing to drop in thousands you will never be on top.

I have this card. It never go above 80C when I stress the card using 3DM11 loop or play BF4 @ qHD. These are reference cards so powercolor only put sticker on the card.

If you need dp1.3 and or hdmi 2, then wait a month or two !
Not necessarily a Nano issue, but yeah a little worrying if you own one!

decent card, quicker than a 390X and far more efficient.

I normally have that exact same attitude, but this year feels a little different, in that, the new tech should be quite a big jump (in terms of performance per watt at least), and at £350+ the Nano isn't the smallest of investments. I've only ever spent a max of £250 on a GPU previously, so I guess there are a few factors for holding back. I get what you're saying though.

I imagine these cards will crash in price when the new range release.
Most I have ever spent on a card was £300 on a 4870x2, this has a bit to go before I snap one up to replace my 7950. Can't quite stomach £350 but heat for the deal. :sunglasses:

They usually do... We don't know when a comparable Polaris or Pascal will be released. The first batch might be low end, no one really knows.
