Theres been a couple GAME pc bargains posted on here over the last week. Picked these two up today in Plymouth stores. Must be national as I also found Mortal Kombat for 99p and Battlefield Hardline for £4.99 as posted on here by others.
Also in the 3 for 2. Pictures below.

Might as well add "PC" to the title

Added "PC" to the title to avoid any unnecessary upset :smirk:

Why so many 99p PC games? It's almost as if they're trying to just ditch their entire PC games stock. I've always felt like a persecuted minority being still a mainly PC gamer going in Game for years. It's ironic because the PC games section used to be the biggest, due to console graphics being so pathetic back in the day. Now console games have finally started catching up to PC graphics (though still not on the same level) that's the only short term market Game are interested in. Sign of the times I suppose. And before someone tries to tell me the console games market isn't short termist - ever tried playing a 1994 game on a PS4? I can still play King's Quest VI on Windows 7 Ultimate. That's really not too short term as game support goes.
There are so many genres for PC games compared with the same old narrow field of them on consoles, it baffles me why Game are so determined to eradicate from their shop floor. The bottom line, as usual. "We can't get a profit out of this market so screw you".

Pretty much true.
However, I doubt youm like most of us PC gamers, even bother with GAME much anymore due to there extortionate prices and poor choice! Though I do rate them for customer service.

I agree with everything you said except for the entire part about game trying to get rid of PC games off their shop floor. Sadly the market decides and the key to business is turnover. For some reason these games haven't sold and space is money and they make more money from over-priced console games. It isn't "screw you because we can't make a profit on PC games" They are a business and if they don't make money it is screwing them. It isn't the fault of Game it is the fault of the consumers who have stopped purchasing PC games. Nowadays you are lucky to get a physical copy of a game for PC and that sucks because undoubtedly PC is better.

Not just that, people are just buying online and downloading, rather than going in store

Most PC games don't even have physical releases, how can they stock their shelves with what doesn't exist?

True, early access doesn't help either.
Although GAME staff seem like they have a severe lack of PC product knowledge as I asked after Dying Light on PC due to the 99p deal on here and there staff were borderline arguing with me over there ever actually being a physical PC release.

I'm usually quite lucky with my local store, they have more of an inkling than most and very rarely try to sell me pre-orders for the most recent bland shooters that are being pumped out. It hasn't always been like that so I hope they keep the kids who they have working there right now.

Haven't found any of these deals in my local game store in York :disappointed: agree that there obviously dwindling there PC section down though I've noticed recently in the two Games in York and the Scarbrough store they've started expanding the PC accessory section with Razer/Steelseries Keybords and mice.

My closest GAME never has any good PC games for low prices.
I'll have to find a different one.
