I've got two of these. They work fine. To transfer 32GB using USB 3 took about 50 mins. Not sure if that is good or bad?

I've got 4 of these, only 3 are super fast, I did a test the last time this chip was posted, and 40GB or so was transferred in under 9 mins, from what I recall, for exact figures search.
The latest versions of these are pretty fast, faster than the previous best price/performance Grixx from 7dayshop, unless your unlucky you should get the fast variety with this offer, certainly I have despite the quoted figures being far lower than the actual.

That works out around 11MB/s.
If there were a lot of small files (songs etc) then I think it's good. If it was mainly large files (movies etc) then yours is going slower than most.

Read Speed: 25MB/s
Write Speed: 14MB/s

My Grixx performs significantly better than that - even whilst fitted in a USB2.0 socket - but it did cost £5 more.

From testing or from quoting the supplier?
My original red mymemory chip exceeds these speeds, my newer ones decimate these.

For some reason they underestimate their own products! I easily get 18-25MB/s with mine. Still not hugely quick but quick enough for most.

When did you buy yours? 3 of the 4 I own get 80+ write and 100+ read, whereas my 1+ year old chip only manages the same as yours.

I wish people would read the previous posts for this chip. The quoted speeds I what they've been quoting since it first went on sale. My last three purchases have all turned out to be the NEW FASTER one, which easily achieves 80 write and 100 read under benchmarks, and in the real world slightly less, but nevertheless pretty impressive speeds.
You'll know you've got the new one, because it gets warm to touch, whereas the old didn't. It still doesn't get to frying temperatures which the Grixx somehow manages.

Rcv'd today.
It's showing as 115Gb available for use - does that sound right?
Thought it would be bit more for some reason.
(Drive is FAT32 formatted).

Hot and ordering. But I read my Grixx 64Gb as transferring 39-40mb/s yesterday which I wouldn't have thought possible tbh.
