Better than any place in Europe, lovely city. Even in Dec/Jan weather is warm enough for a short break. Make a point of going every 3-4 months

Love Marrakech and so do the kids, people are always really friendly also especially if you have kids, just don't get led off by fake tour guides who charge you a fortune to take you to there mates shop.

Had people following us. Everyone wants to be your friend and starts demanding money afterwards. Constantly being asked if you want to buy spices/hash. And a riot kicked off in the medina place saw a local get a metal pole and wack someone with it. It was a cool place though. But more of those go once never go again type places.

Went just before Christmas and really enjoyed it, people are really friendly, prices are cheap and there's certainly plenty to see. TBH I found the city itself a bit tacky - a lot of the stalls in the Souks are selling exactly the same Chinesse tat you see on markets in the UK but make the effort to go to the lesser known bits, like the stalls doing metalwork, and it's amazing the genuine craftsmanship you see them using right in front of you.
