Warning though check it carefully as mine came today from John Lewis (ordered on Sat) and it was clearly a refurbished unit. Trim was bent away from case and the silver cover where you plug the whisk etc into was loose. John Lewis want me to take it back to the store and left me on hold trying to arrange replacement.

I'd call back and speak to someone else and get delivery arranged as those things are heavy and I wouldn't want to walk around with it.

I picked mine up today and absolutely delighted with it.
It really is quieter than other makes I have had.
Kids enjoyed the Chocolate lava cakes I made earlier

It's not about the colour, it's about the model.

Picked up my mixer on Easter Monday and ordered the ice cream maker same day. (you need the serial number). It arrived last Friday via UPS. Really impressed.

Just to point out about dugongs2's post, the silver trim on mine was poorly fitted and the metal disc above where you fit the attachments as meant to be loose, there is a spring behind it so it can move while attaching or removing the attachments. I've had mine 10 years now and only used the icecream bowl once. It's a good novelty but won't fit in a regular upright freezer. It has to be frozen for 16hrs before being used to make icecream

Ice Cream maker arrived today
Popped in freezer and will try it out tomorrow.
As shaneoleeds said, it is large, and would be difficult to use unless your freezer has a large compartment.
Opening post
free ice cream maker too.
