Wandered into Tesco extra Hull and spotted this at £52.15 originally £149.00. There were 3 available at 6pm if anyone needs one. Argos (eBay) were around the £80 mark last month. Most probably store specific but it's there should anyone fancy one.

We got one of these last time they were on offer. Started off great and loved the machine but things started to go wrong. First weakness is that we noticed that at the neck the hinge is not very strong lifts out of the bowl not mixing some of the food well. Second was vibration, it danced all over the work surface. The final thing was after just a week or so of ownership its stopped working altogether with all ingredients in the bowl. We hurriedly packed it up and took it back to Tesco to get it exchanged but they had no stock. Tesco were good (yes that's Tesco were very good) and gave us a voucher which amply covered the wasted food and completely refunded for the machine. Now here is the sting. Because after just one week of ownership, we had some very good freshly made cakes, bread and soup we realised the potential of this machine for fresh food, we went out and purchased an all singing and dancing machine £400+. So be aware if you manage to get one of these at discount and if you get a similar chain of events, it could cost for you as you will not want to do without one. To be honest this was a good lesson in the end as we are still making wonderful fresh food and now smoothies, mincing for fresh burgers etc with the new machine and attachments we are glad this one went wrong. Be warned!

Kenwood is licenced by DixonsCarphone, the retail price is for Kenwood (the old solid products) and not the cheap tat DC pump out.
