It is the very first model, there have been two updated models since then, however with the stick already supplied it is a good buy, over priced I know, but the long handles alone sell for about £38 and don't normally come with the Karcher.

If that was aimed at me. I just bought one this week. Like any sensible person buying something new I did my research before I bought If I had seen this offer before I bought I may well have gone for this.

do you know what ones are rated by Which - I need a almost industrial size one (looking at spending £200 ish)?

These size ones are really not that good, from past experience. Karcher outlet are doing the larger Karcher SC2, refurbished for £49 delivered. Raging, beause i bought one from John Lewis a couple of weeks ago for £89. They are very good. They only have a few left, so i didn't put up a separate thread.
Not really comparable though flipperni, this one is more for cleaning windows, shower screens etc, light & easy too old

Went In store was told it is out of stock.
Told it would be back in on the 28th.
Also told it will go up In Price but I can get it for £45 still.
Gone for another model anyway. From b and q that is if it arrives.

Hi flipperni, have you bought a refurbished one from them? If so may I ask what it was like on arrival e.g. spotless/as new or signs of wear?

Sorry for the late reply, no i was going to order from them, but they had a postage surcharge to post to Northern Ireland. They were £54 and £15 postage at the time i was looking at them, before they were reduced. I bought from John Lewis in the end.

No probs, I got a SC1020 from B&Q for £50, pretty much the same machine as the SC2
