Probably not. I've bought plenty from Amazon warehouse in the past and it usually means just a damaged box with an unused item inside.

Just to clear up, amazon warehouse deals usually (and I stress here USUALLY) come in much better condition and that has happened to me numerous times. Last time I got an 'acceptable: repackaged, scratches on screen, scratches on back' nexus 5x, it came like brand new with all accessories unused and of course phone without a spot, in origianal packaging.
Also, on all warehouse items, there is 12 months warranty, 30 days is the standard amazon return period if you don't like the product or the condition is worse than expected. warranty (i.e. if something breaks) is 12 month and they just give u a full refund (you can't get replacement from warehouse deals).

Exactly. We're not talking some dodgy Chinese website or small-time ebay seller here. It's the biggest B2C commerce website in the world. They probably describe the condition to the lowest denominator just so that nobody is disappointed.

Yeah I got my Honor 5x from this deal yesterday (yep, on Easter Day, God I love Amazon) and it was brand new and the box was still sealed. The box did have an Amazon Warehouse sticker on it so I can only assume that someone else bought it and then returned it unopened.

Got mine on Thursday night - Mine was opened but unused. Great phone except for the launcher (just personal taste). Installed the nova launcher, and very happy.

Yeah I put Google Now on mine almost straight away. I prefer Android to be as close as AOSP as possible and the Huawei interface was just too iOS-ified for me.
