Great little item for backpacking, camping, gym, etc. I took one of these (about 4 times the price) on my gap year, just as absorbent as a towel (or near enough), but much faster drying & smaller to pack. Similar items seem to go for around £7.99 on Mountain Warehouse etc. Off to Japan for 3 weeks in May so I picked one up! :)

These things are a waste of time. They work ok the first time you use them. However, once you have washed them they just redistribute the water around your body. Wouldn't waste your money. I took one travelling and binned it.

You need to wash them with non-bio detergent and no softer, same as all microfibers.

If it is one of the slightly furry ones, then avoid. They are useless. If it is one of the peachskin smooth ones, then they are fantastic and even improve with washing. The secret is to blot your skin with them, not rub.

And never use fabric conditioner on any towel, including normal towels. It stops them absorbing water.

I use these a lot, excellent imo and as said previously, no fabric conditioner (I never use it anymore) on towels, use a drop of white vinegar instead.
