better not skimp on sd card. losing 32gb of your data/photo due to saving £3-5 ish, is not worth it

You have nothing to base that comment on. In fact the reviews are very good for this card and I have also read nothing but good reviews coming from their 128gb USB. Besides it is 2016, most people will backup their data.

Regardless of what make and how much you pay for your memory card, your failure was not backing up. Not to mention losing or having phone stolen

pretty sure some of the grixx stuff has bad feedback in other threads
older ones but id be wary as well
no idea of relative performances but there is eg a kingston on amazon for 6.18 (no adapter) etc
