I ordered this from Amazon/zoverstockers preowned for about £3.20, however I'd happily pay the price above for a new copy, heat added

I remember a scandal with frozen planet where apparently parts were filmed in a zoo

No apparently about it - David admitted they were. Still you get the general idea : polar bear, some frozen white stuff - that's good enough isn't it?

Yep but to be fair we should have spotted the fakes sooner:

Atleast they aren't Disney who depicted lemmings as commiting mass suicide over a cliff, but infact actually forced them over the edge .
As cruel as it was, the Lemmings game most likely wouldn't exist if it didn't happen.

It was only one small part, a polar bear mother with her cubs. Not something you really want to film in the wild if you can help it for obvious reasons.

It's available on Netflix but I can't resist having such great program on Blu-Ray

Heat added and ordered, one of my favourite David Attenborough series even if it was in part filmed at the local Iceland!

Didn't know about that, I played the lemmings game when I was a kid and assumed lemmigs were kinda like suicidal. But seeing this, wow Disney and others deliberately killing innocent animals for the sake of entertainment (even though the video was set in the 1950s, still no excuse) is abhorrent and disgraceful.
