Are you planning ahead for romance? I was asked to look for New York for Valentines day next year for a friend who is getting married there on Valentines Day and I've put together a similar deal for a Valentines break for 2017. Are you planning to propose or a romantic stay, well this is ideal as the hotels are amazing!!! You can amend your dates for beginning of Feb or end of Feb for slightly cheaper but I've done this specifically to include Valentines day. Check other flights and hotels to include these dates and you will struggle to find cheaper. If you have no desire to go on three particular dates then cheaper can be found.
You'll fly first to Dublin from Manchester on 9th February, prices include luggage and a great hotel, the Best Western on O'Connell St which is right in the heart of Dublin and for a bargain price of under £40 a night. You have a full day in Dublin.
On 10th February you'll fly to New York and stay for 6 nights in the highly rated 4* Shelburne NYC Hotel, right in the heart of Manhattan. Walking distance to most attractions and did I mention a complimentary glass of wine on the rooftop bar between 5-6pm every night and free bike rental too. This hotel looks amazing and the rooftop area looks stunning! According to the hotel website rooms have microwave, fridge etc so you can also cook some basic food but who does that in NY!
On 16th February you'll leave New York heading back to Manchester.
Breakdown:
Manchester to Dublin Flights £89.98 book @ Ryanair
Best Western Dublin £39.39 book @ Venere.com
Long Haul Flights €485.90/£381.77pp book @ American Airlines
6 nights in New York £675.09 book @ Venere.com (you may be able to get an additional 15% off using the app but I've run out of storage space on my phone to download it)!
Total £1568.59/£784.29pp

Just bin there Valentine's Day 2016 and it was the coldest day in 100 years - 15 c but there after it was ok (2 days later it was + 13 c !!!! ) you obviously take your chances with the weather but wrap up well and not a problem on a plus point you don't have to queue for attractions .... I would definitely go this time of year again but got 5 days in Newyork with BA airways booking whole package flight and hotel, and transfer to and from airport cheaper than above quote and only booked Nov 15 in a fab hotel central Manhattan 4 star larger than normal room plus mini kitchen microwave , fridge , coffee machine and dishwasher !! Fab !

Seeing as so many of you are worried about being dumped before Valentines next year there is always this idea.
