Game will send you the code for the realm reborn as soon as you place your order but I can confirm the disk contains the base game (A realm reborn) and it will install the game as soon as you put it in, so the code is unnecessary (more like a pre-download). There is 13gb in-game download afterwards to get it updated to the latest version. You will also get a 14-days trial subscription with this. This has been one of the best ever MMORPGS I ever played!

The email I received says that its the Heavensward pre download. Is that just a badly written way of saying its the key for A Realm Reborn then?
I already have Heavensward on PS4 just wanted ARR haha

From who? So this is "digital"? or you need the disc in your PS4 to play?

From Game. Heavensward is a physical disc, but after install you don't need it. I got a code emailed to me but I'm not sure whether its for ARR (the base games) or not.

Disk contain both, the Heavensward is just a patch being installed after update. As soon as you put the disk in, it installs the ARR and then when you start the game, you'll immediately get the update notification of that to be converted to HW

IIRC, the PS4 copy of Heavensward I have came with a key to register on the mogstation, or playonline or whatever its called. Is the key they email through the key to ARR then? It being called "D/DL HEAVENSWARD PRE" in the email is a little confusing.

TBH with you, that key does not work for anything. I think the HW was meant to come in a disk separate, but for any reason they have decided to sell the full experience version which includes the base and patch (probably patch disk didn't sell well). GAME was confused themselves too, they told me that is for ARR but then I didn't use that key at all, I installed it via the disk. The reg code for the game service is also provided inside the game case so that key is practically nothing.

IIRC, the PS4 copy of Heavensward I have came with a key to register on the mogstation, or playonline or whatever its called. Is the key they email through the key to ARR then? It being called "D/DL HEAVENSWARD PRE" in the email is a little confusing.
