Really enjoying this game. For the best experience turn off all HUD items!

Not sure about primal as haven't played it, but would recommend Far Cry 3 if you fancy a Far Cry game, its often on offer.

Far Cry original is totally different, the later Far Cry games were made by different studios with a different engine and different stories and weren't the technical innovation that Far Cry was. Crysis is actually the real Far Cry 2 so to speak. I thought 3 was ok, but not mind blowing and I haven't even been bothered to play 4 yet.

It's a Uplay key, not Steam, if that matters to you. It does in my case. Will never touch Uplay again.

Strange comment - you are aware that when you launch the Steam version it just opens uPlay - 2 DRM's for the price of 1 ....

Did enjoy this, the first Far Cry I finished (not to say it's better than 3/4, just stuck to the missions rather than got waylaid as much)

Is this like far cry 4? If so will hold out as far cry 4 was terrible.

Depends what you didn't like about Far Cry 4. The gameplay is very similar to FC 3/4 but having all the characters speak in a made up language, using spears and clubs rather than guns and taming the beasts makes this a refreshing change to most games out there

Really? I did not know that. So it makes little odds. I won't be buying it via Steam either then!

Tempting as I enjoyed 3 and 4. Not had any problems using Uplay in the past

I really don't understand all the hate for uPlay.
It was ropey to start with, but so was Steam...
I've not had any problems with the Ass Creed games, and loving The Division...
Saying that, if people want to try and follow the cool kids it makes little difference to me ... I'll keep enjoying fun uPlay games regardless.
