Wish it was true but it is not , my two ee pay as you go sims stop getting incoming calls as soon as there is no credit. To get incoming calls I need to put more credit in them. I need to report EE to Ofcom I guess. They hide behind technical problems but most of the problems are deliberate commercial decisions.

Me too. Not a bad little phone, but the Nokia menu navigation & predictive text is way superior.

THE CHEAPEST WAY FOR EE nokia - to unlock through EE for £8.99
I unlocked mine yesterday for 99p on eBay.
Don't know why the O2 deal is expired - still seems to be be available.

Funny you should say that. Until recently I used a mobile phone locked to EE, their cheap Rook smart phone. I spoke to Life who told me there was a 50/50 chance. Rather than transfer my number over, they said, have the Life sim, try it then if OK we will transfer your number over, it worked and they did.
Life are based in UK, they answer calls within a couple of minutes and judging from the 200+ comments on this website, everyone is satisfied. Do a search Life mobile £6 and see what you think.
ALL networks do this. In EE's case, you need to make a CHARGEABLE call every 90 days or your number is disconnected.
It's perfectly reasonable really. Why should you be allowed to use the mobile telco's network infrastructure for free, when everyone else is paying for it?

Is this locked or unlocked EE phone? I have bad experience with EE pay as you go sim cards when they block incoming calls as soon as the credit is finished and ask you to buy more credit before restoring the free incoming calls.
