For anyone looking for one of these and happy to get a refurb, ebays dyson outlet are doing them for £223 with one year guarantee - Easter weekend only. Normally £279 on eBay. Wish I'd waited I just bought one new from Amazon France for £280.

Only potential problem might be, if the origional battery was not swapped out. It might be the case that with these rechargabke batteries, they have a limited number of charge cycles before they degrade and deterioriate.
Also, there is no way of knowing where/how the devices were used by the previous owners. They could have been misused on a building site or anywhere else! Luck of the draw?
Either way op, have some heat even though oos.
