think the game is rubbish having to keep repairing to the point it becomes useless (who bother upgrading)

I loved it. I have spent 40ish hours so far. This game is about survival. It's not a run and gun or slash or dash.
You keep repairing because realistic, in a post apocalyptic world, after bashing 50 zombies in the head with a rusty plank or pipe, you would need to fix it or replace it.
Repairing makes sense.
I paid about £20 for it a month back and think I should have waited. I have not touched the DLC because the difficulty is very high and I have just maxed out the fighting skill and have running and surviving to max out. Then I will dive into the DLC.
