Vodfone seems bad in most areas, I've worked up and down the country and know it's only decent in a few areas, but, mostly very bad to non-existent coverage, I've also found that these piggy back companies signals are just under the parents signal strength so this deal itself would mean even worse signal pick up

Wasn't there a deal yesterday for talk mobile with a link to a £30 Amazon/M&S etc gift card? I can't find it now and am wondering if I imagined it...
Looks like a good deal should ruffle the marlet up a bit. Where is the evidance to show that virtual network signals are not as strong as the parent network? I dont believe this unles I see evidance. In any case talk mobile do not yet do 4G so your data will be 3G keep that in mind...they say it will be coming soon...I wonder when?

Thanks, I just couldn't find it earlier on.
It does specify the £10/month sim, which is a shame.

I'm assuming this is for 3G data and not 4G?

Can I get 4G on Talkmobile?
To be able to use 4G, you need a 4G compatible phone and need to be in an area with 4G phone signal. Most of the handsets we offer are not 4G ready because we focus on offering you best value. Moreover we are not yet able to offer nationwide 4G coverage.
Although we don’t currently offer 4G services, we hope to soon, and you'll find that more and more of the phones we sell will be ‘4G-ready’.

A lot of confusion here about Talk mobile and talk talk.
Talk mobile = Vodafone.

I was with Talk mo ile for a few years and always found customer service was good. Just a shame about the network. Its shocking hardly 3g or data signal anywhere here in the south west.

I used this deal when it was posted last week to get a better deal with three.

Signed up for this deal last week after seeing it posted on another deal here. Received the SIM 2 days later and started using it yesterday. I didn't have mobile data and phoned them this morning. The advisor walked me through everything (after finding out I'm using a OnePlus One) - really great service. It's 3G and really I've no need for 4G. Also.. I followed the topcashback link (and signed up just for this) but the £47-ish cashback is pending and may not happen as they reckon they have tracking issues with the link/Talkmobile. We'll see... good deal anyway.

Search for talkmobile on TCB and make sure any order you place is done having clicked through to their site from TCB
I've yet to see any telecommunications company actually have a positive score. You only see the complaints as the people who are happy have no reason to write a review. I was happy with them and should write a review but...

That is a valid argument, but when you see so many 1 stars with suddenly a 5 star review, looks suspicious. Compare it to Three's ratings however.

I got the Mrs the 4gb deal and I'll most likely be following her with this one having both had the One Plan with Three taken away.
The best speed I get in my rural location inside is 0.2mb despite Three insisting 3G coverage is "Very Good" and 4G is "Good" - the 4G speed in the centre of Leeds indoors is 8mb tops.
I put the wife's new Sim in her phone and ran a speedtest indoors at home and it clocked over 25mb - I'm taking it into the office in Leeds to see if it is just as impressive, if it is I'm definitely moving to them.

Update: It looks like they are using O2 as a network now. Can someone confirm this?
This deal is for Talkmobile (different company) who use Vodaphone also.
