Detailing Dante’s early years and set against a contemporary backdrop, DmC Devil May Cry will retain the stylish action, fl uid combat and self- assured protagonist that have defi ned the iconic series but inject a more brutal and visceral edge.
The Dante of DmC is a young man discovering and coming to terms with what it means to be the child of a demon and an angel. This split personality has a major impact on gameplay with Dante being able to call upon angel and demon abilities at will, transforming his Rebellion sword on the fly to dramatically affect both combat and movement.

Not a patch on the others imo (even the 2nd one) but for a quid? Heat from me!

This game is miles better than Devil May Cry 2, that game was a mess.

I thought this was very good. Enjoyed it a lot. Was a freebie on ps plus a few years ago I think otherwise I wouldn't have played it. Glad I did.

IMHO this is the best DMC gave of them all, and yes I have played, and still own, all of the others. The main thing for me in this game is that there are no respawning enemies when you go back to an area.
I also have the Definitive Edition on my X1 and the Turbo and Hardcore Modes make this game even better.
And one last thing: the soundtrack is the best ever in a video game. Absolutely brilliant.
Heat from me and for £1 this is a bargain.

One of my favourite games.
Would be nice if I could find a PC copy for this price. :stuck_out_tongue:

Ninja Theory did an awesome job with DMC on PC.
I think the console version is 30FPS rather than 60FPS
but some may not mind.
I think a different version had 60FPS unlocked. :stuck_out_tongue:
The hate from some fans was ridiculous.
I haven't played the older ones but this DMC
introduced me to the series and it was really fun.
Yeah the script is a little weak but the story was ok I think,
the visuals and atmosphere and gameplay was amazing.
Good job, Ninja Theory....a British game developer company by the way.

Heat!
Massively underrated! I am a big fan of the first 4 (we will ignore the 2nd) Ninja theory did a great job with this reboot.
the 360 version is 30fps where as the remaster on xbone and ps4 is 60fps for anyone who is wondering.
