Tragically, custard creams have been off the shelves for a while due to flooding at 't factory oop north, but they're back! Only small packets, but it's a start.
Sadly, no sign of ginger nuts ... yet.

Yum. Separate biscuit and hold one half in each hand. Eat the piece without cream first, normally in two bites. Then take the remaining biscuit and scrape the cream along your top front teeth. Savour for a moment and then eat the remaining biscuit, again in two bites. Repeat until sated.

I do hope it's the United Biscuits custard creams which have been missing since the flooding. There's nothing like them. I've had to eat the Tesco ones for months now, and they're dreadful.

18p, now there's a bargain.
Never had a bad custard cream, so assume these will be equally yummy

I love malted milk - a lot of them are the same, but you do get some that are not as "malty" and the sweetness overpowering.

You're not much of a connoisseur of the old custard cream then, there can be quite a difference in quality / taste between manufacturers!

standard price? wish they would get rid of the palm oil in these tho, btw each of the cookie is like 70calories!!! and when you start you can't stop eating them :disappointed:

You physically can't stop eating them? I don't think that's a problem with the food....

Anyone else missing bourbon biscuits? Since the factory was flooded, it's a nightmare getting hold of normal bourbons. Tesco seem to only stock 'Foxs' bourbons.
I've always wondered why custard creams are cheaper than bourbons too.
Best bourbons used to be co-op.
Bourbons....mmmmm.

Got some bourbons from my local Lidl and they are superb. Don't normally lik bourbons but these are very nice. Pleased with the custard creams too. The oaties and then rich tea ones aren't great. They are din for the price but the other two excel!
