I'm massive fan of Conti tyres and this is a great price! Heat OP.
Out of interest, why are 25's back in fashion? I love my 23's and don't see a reason to go back

I have just replaced my Michelin Pro 4 SC 23s with the same tyre but 25s and you certainly benefit from a more comfortable ride...if I recall correctly the "Tour" professionals ride on 25s.

I used to run my GP4000S 2 23's at 120psi, but after a friend's recommendation, I switched to 25's and started running them at 100-110. The extra comfort is definitely noticeable, and they feel a lot more grippy in the wet.

£50 for bike tyres... Back in the real world, I use a patch.
My tyres are 20years old and still going strong...

You put a patch on your tyres??

BS. Your bike must have been stuck in the garage for the last 20 yrs as well then.

So the patch goes on you when you come off in the wet I assume. Doesn't sound very cost effective to me....

In the real world this is how much you pay for quality cycling equipment. Why make a negative comment on a subject you clearly have little understanding of?

And in the actual real world where people use their bikes, our tyres would have worn through to the rim if we used the same tyres for 20 years. After a 1500 miles, my tyres are pretty worn through.....and that's about a years worth of cycling.

I ended up grabbing a pair of schwalbe marathon plus. For the moment I can see em just staying on. I'm not so weight orientated that I'll notice the extra few grams and they're (largely) bullet proof.
Good price on these for a decent pair though

my GP 4 season is over 3 years old and going strong still. although not doing as many miles as used to but should have at least 6000 on them by now. these are should have better rolling resistance etc, more racey tyre very nice price

Hardly. I remember Choppers. Point is you obviously don't use it and the rubber will be hard and cracked. As for "burning rubber" at traffic lights...On a motorbike sure, but a push bike?! Lmao...

No, the shed. I'm not one of these aggressive cyclists that burns up tyres at the traffic lights. When I bought my Pugh racing classic, you were probably just a glint in the milkmans eye.

Thanks OP. Gone for a pair of 20mm at the same price. I know wider is more fashionable nowadays (and I run 25mm on my road bikes), but I still like skinny and high PSI for TTs. They may not be any faster, but I feel faster!

These are cracking tyres, worth every penny. I personally prefer the 25s to give a bit more cushion but at this price you can't go wrong.

This is for a road bike - if you have one, you should be prepared to spend a bit more.
On a hybrid, tyres are a bit cheaper, but it still pays to go for quality.
