If anyone out there happens to have pirated this, then it is well worth this price to buy it just for access to the Steam Workshop user created content. So many additions it totally transforms the game.

100% agree , i had a cough non steam version . Then it came up for 9.99 on cd keys and i took the plunge , the steam workshop is a must as some of the mods are essential.

Does this in any way compare to Civ 5? I'm up to about 300 hours on that so kinda need a different outlet for my creative side :smiley:

Completely different. Way more complex (proper traffic algorithms etc) and no combat. I absolutely love both, so that should tell you something :smile:

This isn't like Civ5 which is a turn based strategy game. This is more like SimCity but better. Pretty much the game SimCity should have been according to many who have played it.
