Just picked up some bottles of Castrol Oil Magnatec for £7 each for the 4 Litres in Asda, usually £28 - a bargain! Don't know if this is nationwide.

You can use either. The numbers refer to the weight of an oil in other words the viscosity of the oil at a given temp. The number before the W is the viscosity when cold. numbers after the W are viscosity when hot.
0w30 is a better performer when engine and ambient temp is colder. the oils have the same properties when hot

Asda have been reducing these for quite a while, few deals posted over last couple of months. Got mine for £10 few backs but YMMV.

Great price, well worth stocking up if you can get it. C2 is the one to use in the euro 4/5 spec Ford tdci engines. Low ash content suited for DPF's
