Price is £39.99 but is reduced to £29.99 with code HOME25, also use Fast Track to knock off another £1 making it £28.99 for the Jug and 12 month's supply of filters.

They remove close to nothing from the tap water... Don't waste your health and money.
To be precise, first filtration they do remove 25% of impurities, second time additional 7%, third time additional 2%.
That`s 34% cleaner water with 3 filtration cycles. Not that bad... But fluoride content will present fully in tap water.
Good deal tbh, if you need it for something else, but not drinking water.
Get TDS meter and prove it for yourself.

Seems fine to me. Makes stuff like tea crystal clear. I can tell the difference between this and normal tap water.
Also removes all trace of scale from the water, I've not de scaled my kettle in 8 years and it's spotless.

Filter jugs like this aren't about making the water safe to drink - all UK tap water should be safe to drink anyway.
The primary purpose is to remove unpleasant tastes and soften the water and these work extremely well for that, if your tap water has some of these issues.
My local tap water has an unpleasant 'chlorine-like' smell and taste for example. I find that they make this tap water much nicer to drink, plus the resulting water makes for nicer tea and coffee and also produces crystal clear ice cubes. Much better than buying bottled water for drinking, IMO.

Living in London, where the pipes go from lead to copper to pvr back to lead to god know's what - you can really really taste the difference consistently. As far as small particles filtered out - a wet new filter (3 runs) to a wet old filter (at the end of the month) there is a noticeable difference in weight.
To each their own though. If your water is good already then great!

Is there a way to use the HOME25 code for reserve and collect? As on quidco there is currently 10% off instore purchases if you register your card, it may not track as you'd be using a discount code, but no harm in trying.

So, what do you use for drinking water? Do you buy bottled water?
The reason most people use Brita is to remove limescale, and it works, without installing some expensive filtration system or being conned into using a tv shop electro-magnetic gizmo.
