If you're foolish enough to take on hand luggage that is to heavy or to large, or loose your boarding pass, expect to pay a fee. If you're an organised, informed traveller, you will only pay the price as quoted.
I always laugh at people who moan about these fees. Ultimately, if you get charged, it's your own silly fault.

Snorting lines of coke on a plane, that's disgraceful!! They could have at least offered it around

Good price. Pity Bristol Airport is the worst connected airport I've ever used. 'A' roads from the city to the airport, and no rail connection!

That's Bristol transport for you, with the greater surrounding area the city could really have benefited from a metro system - now it's a vicious cycle of RPZ, the monopoly of First bus, and a handful of train stations.

Would never take a budget airline flight to Ibiza again. Went to Ibiza last year for a friend's wedding and flew with Monarch. It was mayhem...
We expected it to be lively as it was towards the end of the clubbing season but we had lads doing lines of coke directly opposite us, a group of older women behind us singing/chanting the entire flight (apart from the moment one of them wee'd herself while the seatbelt sign was on) & two lads from the same group trying to fight each other before being told they would be arrested upon arrival. That was just the people close to us!
Never again!

Sounds like any form of public transport with people on route to/from partying or even going football so I fail to see what your issue is or why you're blaming a scratchy airline for it?
I was on a Swiss flight between Zürich and Wien the other year and two suits stinking of money squared up to each other about something.
They was clearly from a public school background, and did not seem to be charged up on a bottle of Remy or a couple of grammes of shovel.
Sxxx happens, big deal :smirk:

I dont know what people expect from the party capital of Europe, a quiet time lol, the pilot even has a stickshaker in the 'cockpit' too, commonly known as, second in charge or any cabin crew, that locked door isnt just about security its about privacy
Hope the wedding was as fun filled

I think it depends what time your flights are late evening on Friday then you are pretty much asking for trouble. I've flown with Monach to ibiza and had not issues during a day flight albeit many years ago....Thats one big risk to take to smuggle drugs onto a plane to take in full view of others or take into another country.

Took Monarch to Party capital Los America last week. No problems onboard that a set of headphones didn't cure.

Seaniboy, if you actually bothered to read my post properly you would have seen that I said I expected it to be lively. I certainly didn't expect a "quiet time" (where the hell did you draw that conclusion from?)... but we didn't expect idiots snorting coke up their noses in full view of our kids - anyone who finds that acceptable, or just shrugs it off with "what do you expect?" etc... is a complete tool as far as I'm concerned. The wedding invite was for our entire family, and whilst I was reluctant to take the kids on a budget airline for a flight to Ibiza it was all we could afford so we didn't have much choice.
I completely expected a rowdy flight - and was prepared to put up with singing, drinking, swearing, etc... but fighting and taking class a drugs in front of kids isn't acceptable in any situation.
