Would you please reply to this post when you have tried them. They sound like they are something I could certainly do with.
Thanks. Hot for the price BTW.

I love mine - makes really light work of small to medium size branches. I would definitely recomend one!

I use it for chopping up branches for the fire. When it first came it looked like a toy, it's so small! To be fair though the jaws open up quite far so can do bits bigger than 4". It's great for a novice as it clamps onto the wood to stop it spinning in the saw horse like it can with an ordinary chainsaw or other electric saw. But, unless they have changed it in the last 6 months then, as other reviews have stated, the little bottle that you use to squeeze oil into the saw every 10 minutes is too stiff and you have to use all your force even to just get a few drops of oil out. Other than that it is a great tool and quite unique to anything else on the market.

Damn missed. I've been thinking about getting one of thee for ages, it was below my max price as well!

How many alligators does it take, and what size? I get confused enough with batteries, but now they're going 'green'....

If you have the nerve, places like Screwfix and Aldi sell electric chain saws for about £50. Less likely to saw your leg off with this one though.
