Far better getting one of the many battery powered LED type. Better light, safer, don't need a power point, no cables and you won't be continually replacing bulbs.

Buy this and stick a nice big LED bulb in it. If you have easy access to mains power this is a much better option than a battery unit.

I can't remember when I last saw a garage use a trailing inspection lamp. All battery LED. But if you insist on using mains power, make sure you use an RCD.

Picked up a pair of 60w Heavy duty candle E27's from Halifax Poundland
They didn't have E27 LED's but did have SES LED's and an adapter to buy.
Poundworld had some Halogen's with E27 fitting in single packs
Couldn't find any in the 99p shop
