Grainger replaced mine with a new copy that had the Amiibo in. At least their customer service was good

Oh joy. Got it second hand from them and they didn't send the Amiibo with it. Only half the game, imo and there is nothing on the site that says the Amiibo don't come with it, so contacted them to see what they can do. Can't even play the game without a figure.

Ordered this on Monday, they still haven't dispatched it. Kinda getting annoyed by that now.

How do people find Grainger Games are for online deliveries these days? They had a poor reputation but is that still warranted? Where do they sit on the scale between Amazon and CEX?

Worse game EVER

I seen this yesterday but I just can't bring myself to buy it. It's a good price but you're essentially buying a lump of turd. I guess the amiibo at least are worth something but again they could have picked better characters. Isabelle is fine I suppose. The game on its own, however, is diabolic.

I've only ever ordered once and that also arrived as a repackaged products. physical game stores have to put the actual boxes out if they don't have the pos "dummy sleeves" which is why it can end up looking grubby etc

Grainger Games' business model seems to revolve around repackaging used games as new. I ordered a new 3DS game from them recently and it looked like someone had eaten their lunch off the case. Plus the cart had a save file already on it! A couple of years ago I ordered SoTC/Ico collection from them - again, "new". I received a US copy that was clearly used, with tears to the inlay and a scratched disc.

To clarify, these were games sold as new - I know they also sell games listed as used, though you wonder why they give you a choice when you end up with a used game whether you select new or not.

They're really grubby. I'd avoid them like the plague. Much worse than CEX; no comparison with Amazon.
