Cold, not a deal and basically exploiting the heritage we have in this country. Not a penny of this money goes to maintaining the properties and whilst it will get you admission to the properties it was never intended to be abused by people living hear

I've had NT membership for the last couple of years but stopped it this year as it was just getting expensive and not used enough to warrant the high cost. So without membership I wouldn't visit at all. With this I'll visit, spend money on the car park, food, drink, buying things at the gift shop, buying plants etc and will (as I usually did in the past) make a donation on my way out. Buying this means that I'll be contributing to the upkeep more than I would if this wasn't available as I simply wouldn't have visited otherwise!

For families that cannot afford £110 per year it gives all a chance to appreciate our history

Not again. This is just legalised fraud aimed at cheating British heritage charities out of much-needed funds. A bit like stealing from a charity shop.
Legal it may be (until NT and EH change the rules - which they're actively considering because of all the abuse) but you have to have the morals of an alleycat to pull this cheap stunt.
With luck the rule change will go through in time for the coming season and the cheating fraudsters will lose out.

"Members can visit most properties operated by the following overseas heritage organisations free of charge* upon presentation of their NZHPT/Heritage New Zealand membership card. In some cases, a reduced-price admission applies, and some properties may be excluded from the visiting agreement."
Admission to both National Trust AND English Heritage is FREE - though you do have to pay for car parking.

Went today and worked lovely. One lady even said, "welcome to England". Lol

Wow!! Any issues when it comes to the payment address not being in NZ?
Can't find the option for a couple, apart from a life membership; I wonder when you buy a family membership if you HAVE to bring kids in order to be eligible for entry to the NT property?

No issues regarding overseas postage at all. You don't have to take the kids either!

Great value. Obviously none of the money goes to preserve any UK heritage. I've had one for a couple of years now, and used it quite a few times without any problems at all. Now and then I'll get a comment along the lines of "Oh, I haven't seen one of these before" or "You're a long way from home".

It does work as I have one (been on here before). You have to pay car park fees though, and often the staff don't recognise the card so there is a delay getting in.
