What do you want for £2 and most of the time they do grow

The full price ones planted in the first week they were on sale would've been much better value, and in the correct season to plant them. These trees have been kept in bright warm conditions for months, and have started to grow leaves. Without water the chances of these surviving a late planting is tiny unless you have serious ninja gardening skills. A dead stick in the ground is worth nothing.

I never got round to planting a plum tree I bought last year. It survived the winter and is budding.

Sadly not for me, bought some reduce raspberries last year, not one sprouted, whereas the cheapest I could find on Amazon, all grew including a root fragment I found in the package. I know one person is not a good benchmark, but will never buy again, especially since Aldi customer service was the worst and they take no responsibility if their plants don't grow.
