The OP is for G-Sync (NVIDIA), yours is for FreeSync (AMD) that is usually cheaper. You buy based on your GPU.

I've been holding out of buying a couple of GTX980s but thinking about it, AMD FURY X is cheaper, plus the equivalent monitors are cheaper too. So there is quite a hefty premium for going down the high end Nvidia route.

G-Sync is supposed to be better but not sure if it's worth the premium.

I dont even use V-Sync at the moment. Never seem to need to. Screen tearing hasn't been an issue for a couple of years really.

What monitor/GPU do you use and at what Hz? I get tearing in nearly every game without v-sync. Windowed mode?
One of the reasons we have G-Sync and FreeSync is to prevent tearing without having much effect on input delay.

Freesync is great piece of tech and couldn't go back to screen tearing now well worth the monitor upgrade for sure.
True Gsync is meant to be better but upto £200 price preimum? I'm not so sure on that one.

The display connectivity isn't there yet for current hardware  And that's just one of the problems.

Not really, as there isnt a card or cable in the world that can push 4k @ that Hz.. yet.

You referring to:
HDMI 1.4, the rate of 4K was limited to 24 frames per second.
HDMI 2.0 is able to transport 4K video at 10-bit and 12-bit colour depths. With HDMI 1.4 it was limited to 8-bit.
DisplayPort 1.3 drives 4K At 120 Hz

Can't make my mind up. Should I go for this? Or for LG34UM95 or the AOCU3477PQU.
I have a 27inch DGM monitor at the mo, but the screen isn't big enough for multiple windows. So I really am not sure about buying a similar sized monitor.
