A really good deal on a reasonable every day Sauvignon Blanc. Just £4.17 a bottle!

I'd value your opinion if you said you had tried this wine but as you probably haven't your comment is merely snobbery.

this may be very nice wine, but a word of caution. Asda sell a bunch of NZ Sauvignon Blanc's - now if you look closely at the back label you wont find much, if any, information on the producer or wine maker other than it is imported (and I think bottled) in the UK by International Wines. In other words they may bring it in by the tanker and the 4 or 5 apparently different NZ Sav Blancs on the shelves, supplied by International Wine, may just be the exact same wine. This is not true for all their NZ whites btw, but next time. you're browsing, check that label!

Yeah I would expect that. Tesco do the same I saw a thing in TV about it. I'm a big fan of NZ Sauvignons and find this one to be very drinkable. Not the best ever but at this price who cares.

Purely speculation!

Who cares? Those that do mind what their wine tastes like.

I'd sooner buy this case from Aldi any day. It seriously packs a punch and I genuinely rate the stuff, especially for under a fiver a bottle.
