Not much easter stuff left in my local store yesterday, seemed to have a load in last weekend, and haven't re stocked since, few Thornton's eggs, some easter bunnies and a few other bits and pieces but no cream eggs

I don't think it matters. Most people couldn't give a stuff about quality these days. As long as it's cheap and tastes like a handful of sugar the masses will approve.
