This is my first post, but thought it seemed like a decent price. I managed to get it for £156.61 through Flubit. It got heat when it was on sale at £179.99.

I've just had an email back from flubit saying that they've checked with the supplier, and can confirm that I'll be receiving a 380x.

Yep, but you have to be an elite member, which costs £15 a year, but there's a 30 day free trial period. For some reason I got the offer instantly too.

Yeah Elite gives it to you instantly, i think that's the key advantage (along potentially with the other URLs)

Crap! I didn't notice until you pointed it out. The manufacturer part no does correspond with the 380x, so fingers crossed.

Part number is a 380 not a 380x by the looks of it. XFX Radeon R9-380P-4DF5

Where did you see that? Next to the price it says 'Manufacturer ID R9-380X-4DF5'

380X goes for 200ish quid so I have a feeling it's going to be a 380.

Still better to go for a R9 290 at this price
You can get one around 170 nowadays on ebay
380 won't do VR well IMO
