You trust a website advertising their brand of alkaline water to tell you reliable information? Why do you think you need to drink water with a pH of 10?

I don't. That was just the first web link google returned. It's a well known fact that we need slightly alkaline water. Not pH 10 though as you say.

"It's a well known fact that we need slightly alkaline water"? Sorry never heard of it and I can't think of a reason why that would be true. How can you reliably tell the pH of evian and volvic using biased sources? Do you think volvic is unhealthy as a result of it's pH?

No I didn't say Volvic is unhealthy, I said that Evian is healthier because of it's higher pH level. I'm not really interested in debating this on HUKD. If you've never heard of this subject and are interested in it, do go and research the matter at your leisure.

And that's how marketing works...

Sorry but if you're going to give advice and state facts, you shouldn't be surprised if people question you like they have here.
The NHS and WHO mention nothing about what pH water to drink as long as it is clean and in the normal ranges and as such there are no particular recommendations or advice saying you need alkaline water.
